On Saturday, November 9, 2024, it was held at the majestic Degollado Theater, a cultural icon of the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Escaparate, the most important jewelry trend show in Mexico, created and developed by Jalisco Jewelry Chamber, celebrated its 10 editions, taking the fine arts as inspiration.

Music, painting, sculpture, dance, architecture, and literature were interpreted through jewelry collections designed by 16 creative artists from different parts of Mexico, such as Jalisco, Mexico City, Guerrero, and Oaxaca, who presented their creations in a performance that stood out for a composition of dance and experimental music original and made for the edition of Escaparate 2024.

The 11 participating jewelry brands were: Aranza Duke, Mariana Barranco, Cuata Jewelry, Elena López, Citlali Joyas, Gabriela Sánchez, Mackech Jewels, Flora María, Oscar Figueroa, Leticia Llera and Alejandra Aceves, who presented large-format pieces that stood out for their artistic sense and the use of metals such as silver, crystals, natural stones and other materials.

The president of Jalisco Jewelry Chamber, Lourdes Cázares Ruiz, highlighted the strength of Mexican jewelry design at national and international levels.

“Every piece, every performance, and every piece we see tonight is a reflection of that dialogue between technique and emotion, between tradition and innovation, because the essence of Escaparate is precisely that: be a window that allows us to see and feel the greatness of jewelry design in its various manifestations”, she stressed in her speech.

Escaparate invites us to rediscover the value of the classic and, at the same time, open ourselves to new experiences and artistic perspectives, being a sample of Mexican talent and a celebration of the artistic vision and commitment of each of the designers, Creators, and dreamers who, through jewelry design explore new aesthetic frontiers.

It should be noted that Jalisco has consolidated itself as a hub of jewelers in Latin America. The State participates in 70% of the national production of jewelry. Since 2013, Escaparate has become a platform for the projection and promotion of Mexican design, as well as an artistic manifestation of the creativity and talent of Mexican jewelry.
