The allure of Korean culture was on full display in Paris as “Y3K Fashion Corée” captivated the audience with a seamless blend of K-Fashion, K-Pop, and high-energy performances. The event, featuring emerging designers Nibgnus and Sunwoo, as well as celebrated dancer AIKI and the dance crew HOOK, brought K-Culture to new heights, garnering widespread attention from media, buyers, and influencers alike.
On October 26, renowned creator and dancer AIKI, along with model-DJs Ana Kim and HYUNY, delivered a dynamic performance at Palais Brongniart, held in conjunction with the “K-EXPO France 2024.” The Y3K Fashion Corée event attracted over 150 attendees, including prominent figures from the Parisian fashion scene to witness the fusion of K-Fashion and K-Pop.
Y3K Fashion Corée was designed as an immersive experience blending K-Fashion and K-Pop through powerful performances and mesmerizing styling. AIKI and HOOK reinterpreted K-Pop choreography, infusing it with their unique energy to enthrall the Parisian audience, who responded with overwhelming enthusiasm. The collection highlights included pieces by Nibgnus and Sunwoo, both popular among Korea’s Gen Z. The show featured costumes seen on SM Entertainment artists NCT 127 and aespa, providing a visual treat that captivated local fashion enthusiasts.

Adding to the excitement, AIKI and HOOK served as judges for the K-Pop cover dance contest at the K-EXPO France, creating a space for global K-Pop fans to celebrate their passion. This role reinforced AIKI’s influence as a leading dancer representing Korea on an international stage.
The event also saw Ana Kim and HYUNY elevate the after-party with their K-Pop-infused DJ sets, energizing the audience and further spreading K-Culture’s magnetic appeal through contemporary music. Y3K Fashion Corée marked a significant step in fostering international interest in K-Fashion & K-Culture, contributing to a growing fascination with Korea’s cultural exports. With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), the K-EXPO France 2024 featured a broad range of Korean products, from content and consumer goods to food exports, aiming to support both B2B and B2C engagements in the European market. Held from October 26 to 30 at Palais Brongniart, the event closed to great acclaim, paving the way for future K-Culture expansions.
