The Washington Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) is pleased to announce the “WAVE Fashion Show” – Pink Influence, Thursday, July 8, 2021.
The Fashion Show is part of the positive transformation on Washington Avenue (WAVE), Miami Beach. The show will spotlight Resort Wear and “A Touch of Euphoria” during Swim Week Miami Beach. The show will feature 6 Designers, 24 Models, an 80-foot runway, Pink People, and the entire block on Espanola Way between Washington Avenue and Collins Avenue.
“With the positive changes happening on Washington Avenue like the Goodtime Hotel, Moxy Hotel, New clubs, Art and Cultural activities, we are excited to add this event to our upward trajectory. It’s great to see stars and locals coming back to experience happy memories,” said Troy E. Wright, Executive Director.
Watch designers like Lila Nikole, House of Athletes, Soledemar Beachwear, Rosmio, Mursrswag, and notable guest designers fashion paraded on historic Washington Avenue. It is not a beauty pageant, but we pride ourselves on pure model search ethos with recognized models focused on fashion first.
Charity: Washington Avenue BID adopted Silent Victims of Crime, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to empower children of incarcerated parents in Florida by providing educational enrichment, social support, and positive mentoring. SVC’s goal is to mitigate the risk factors associated with incarceration and help these children succeed in life.
MORE: Designers being showcased include Lila Nikole, Sol De Mar Swimwear, House of Athletes, Muurswagg, RoseMio and Miami Art Body Tape. A percentage of proceeds will go to Silent Victims of Crime, a non-profit empowering children of incarcerated parents by providing educational enrichment, social support and positive mentoring. The Washington Avenue Business Improvement District (BID)’s integral mission is to preserve, stabilize, and improve Washington Avenue retail and business district located inside historic Miami Beach. The BID provides high-quality, customer-oriented services designed to define, enhance, and continually improve Washington Avenue for those who work, live, visit, and do business here
