Lujin was born and raised in Inner Mongolia, China. Moved to New York in 2011, later she graduated from Parsons with a BFA in Fashion Design. Influenced by her homeland mountains and prairie, her concept of design and the choose of fabrics derived from the motion of nature, and focuses on bringing back the closeness of fashion and primitive beauty. Lujin uses deconstruction and the rearrangement of color patches as to reflect the ease of tension, changing of environment, and the breaking of bias. She explores the harmony in discord, and connects the differences through her own stories and experience. Lujin currently lives and works in New York City.
The show on Sunday, February 11 will be her second time showing during NYFW.
