Celebrating 15 years of vibrant swimwear design, Lila Nikole Collection will debut its latest Summer 2025 collection, titled “Quince,” during DC Swim Week‘s swimwear shows in Miami. The highly anticipated 26-look runway show will take place on Sunday, June 1, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mondrian South Beach.
The new collection, Quince—named in homage to the traditional Latin American fifteenth birthday celebration—serves as a bold tribute to the brand’s heritage, evolution, and fearless approach to fashion. Known for her unapologetic use of color and original prints, designer Lila Nikole Rivera describes Quince as “print-heavy,” with dynamic combinations of florals and geometric art rendered in striking hues: hot pink, yellow, purple, red, and bold pops of black and aqua.
The runway will showcase a wide array of the collection’s silhouettes ranging from tiny bikinis and high-waisted styles to strappy one-pieces, rashguards, and sheer outerwear, including fringe skirts, lightweight jackets, and unisex cover-ups. The collection will also introduce men’s and gender-fluid pieces, emphasizing versatility and effortless transition from beach to yacht, lunch to late-afternoon aperitivo.
“My customer is someone who loves color and statement pieces—styles that take you from day to night,” says Rivera. “They are bold, confident, and want to be seen.”
A signature of the brand is Rivera’s intentional departure from mainstream trends. Her pieces are consistently original—both in form and fabrication. All prints are custom-designed in-house, and every garment is produced in a limited-run, small-batch lab setting, allowing for meticulous quality control and exclusivity. “We don’t mass produce. We don’t manufacture in China. We create our own fabrics and designs in-house, which has been our model for over a decade,” Rivera explains.
The Quince collection also features subtle shapewear elements, particularly in the high-waisted bottoms and one-pieces, using Rivera’s signature power mesh fabric that flatters and smooths the body while maintaining comfort and sex appeal.
Deeply rooted in the Caribbean and Carnival communities, Rivera often merges swimwear with costume design—a synergy that’s earned her loyal followers across the islands and elevated her brand on a global scale. Her designs have been worn by A-list names such as Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, Gigi Hadid, and Emily Ratajkowski.
In 2021, Rivera made history as the first Latina costume designer to lead the Emmy-nominated Super Bowl LV Halftime Show, solidifying her influence across both fashion and entertainment.
The anniversary festivities begin on Wednesday, May 28, with the official “Golden Standard Pool Party” from 1–4 p.m. at Surfcomber Hotel, featuring sounds by DJ Dinero. On Thursday, May 29, Nikole will host trendsetters aboard Lupo Yacht Club for an exclusive influencer pampering and gifting suite experience, complete with food, drinks, and live sets by DJ Cool Blaze and DJ Dinero. Later in the evening, another event is set to take place where guests will be treated to the “Senses: Dinner Event” at Casa Matilda Steakhouse in Miami Beach at 8 p.m., which will include a Hennessy Cocktail Mixing Class.
The festivities continue on Friday, May 30, with the “Lila Nikole SKiN Show” at R House Wynwood, blending vibrant fashion with the iconic Miami drag scene. Sunday, June 1, Lila Nikole Collection will host a VIP Suite Experience at the Mondrian South Beach from 5:30–10 p.m., in partnership with Casamigos Tequila, featuring a curated Casamigos cocktail menu and private bar, followed by the official runway show at 7:00 p.m.
